Job Nature & Tenure of Employment
- Contractual Basis: These are not permanent positions. The appointment is purely on a contract basis for a specified period.
- Initial Tenure: Selected candidates will be engaged for an initial period of one year.
- Maximum Tenure: The contract may be extended on a yearly basis for a maximum of four years initially, with a potential for one more term of four years based on performance and company needs (total 8 years).

BDL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
Below, we have provided the BDL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process -
Written Test (Online Exam):
- You have to take an online test with 120 questions.
- 100 questions will be from your subject.
- 20 questions will be from general topics (Maths, Reasoning, and English).
- Time: 2 hours
- You need at least 50% marks to pass (or 40% if you're from SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and applying for reserved posts).
Interview:
- If you pass the exam, you will be called for an interview.
- About 7 to 10 candidates per post will be shortlisted based on merit.
Final Selection:
- 85% weightage is given to the test and 15% to the interview.
- Final list will be shared on the BDL website.
Eligibility Criteria (as on 10.08.2025)
Age Limit & Relaxation
- Upper Age Limit: 28 years for General/EWS candidates.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
Essential Educational Qualifications
For Trainee Officer (Finance):
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- Cost Management Accountant (CMA) / ICWA
- OR Chartered Accountant (CA)
- OR MBA or equivalent / Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Degree in Finance (2 years duration).
Minimum Marks: 55% for all qualifications (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Not applicable for CA/CMA finalists.
For Trainee Assistant (Finance):
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Pathway 1: B.Com / BBA (Finance) + minimum 6-month Computer Course in Office Applications.
- Pathway 2: CA Inter / ICWA (CMA) Inter / CS Inter.
- Pathway 3: Any degree in Science / Economics + 1-year diploma in Financial Management + minimum 6-month Computer Course.

- Application Fee: ₹300/- for UR, EWS, and OBC (NCL) candidates.
- Fee Exemption: SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted.
